Head Coach - Keith Hetsko To e-mail Head Coach Keith Hetsko, please click here Keith Hetsko will begin his second season as head men's tennis coach at The University of Scranton. With a roster made up almost entirely of freshmen, he led the Royals to five victories last spring--more than twice the win output of the previous season--and helped groom the game of first-team all-Freedom Conference selection Scott Melideo. Hetsko joined the Royals’ coaching staff after serving as head men’s tennis coach at nearby Marywood University from 1994 through 2006. He led the Pacers to Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) championships in 1998 and 2006. In his final season, Marywood finished with a 14-3 overall record, including an 8-0 mark in the PAC. A certified United States Tennis Association (USTA) official, Hetsko is a 1978 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in sociology. He has served as an umpire for the U.S. Open twice and many other professional tournaments. Keith Hetsko bounced ideas off his son, A.J. (right), who served as a volunteer coach this past season.
