RAY GALLON
Jazz Pianist

Ray Gallon has performed with Ron Carter, Art Farmer, Lionel Hampton, T. S. Monk, George Adams, and many others at such venues as The Village Vanguard, The Blue Note and The Village Gate in New York City, and at renowned jazz clubs and venues throughout North America. Ray has participated in the Montreal Jazz Festival, and has toured Europe, Canada, Japan and North America with a variety of artists. He has also performed at The White House Gala and The Kennedy Center Salute in Washington, D.C.. 

As a recording artist, Gallon can be heard on many recordings, including Crosstalk (T.S. Monk), You Can Hide Inside The Music (Harper Brothers), Cooking in the Kitchen (Lionel Hampton), and That Old Feeling (Ge orge Adams). Several of these recordings have included original compositions by Gallon.

Gallon has appeared on television in Lionel Hampton at Montreal Fest, The Tonight Show and The Today Show. He holds a BFA and MA in music composition from City College of New York, and has taught in the music departments at CCNY and Mannes/New School.
