Meet our Presidential University Summer Fellows
In the summer of 2008, two of our Biology undergraduates earned Presidential University Summer Fellowships, which are competitive awards granted to students.

Giuseppe Bongiorno is a junior Biology major working with Dr. Gary Kwiecinski. He is studying a unique structure on the lips of Phyllostomid bats.

Allison Greco is a senior Biology major working with Dr. George Gomez. She is studying the effects of hypoxic and hyperoxic stress on embryonic chick cardiac myocytes.
