The Center for Professional Training and Development The University of Scranton is committed to providing quality, affordable and accessible training and education programs through the Center for Professional Training and Development (CPTD). We provide a wide range of public and customized education and training programs to meet the needs of employers and employees in our region. Because education and training is key to building our community and attracting new companies to our area, the University of Scranton Center for Professional Training and Development is dedicated to working with area businesses and industries to build programs that meet new and emerging needs and trends. CPTD is committed to helping our region grow. Center for Professional Training and Development provides an array of technology programs geared for the working professional. Our full-time Certified Instructors are experts in their fields and help students apply what they learn to real problems from their workday. Our on site technical programs are hands-on with each participant at a computer workstation. CPTD provides a wide range of programs to help you meet professional continuing education requirements. Throughout the year programs, workshops and seminars for real estate professionals, occupational therapists, nurses, accountants and human resource managers are offered. Whether you are in interested in staying current in your field, developing your skills or expanding your knowledge and expertise, we have programs that can help. Looking ahead, the Center for Professional Training and Development will continue to expand and adapt to meet the evolving needs of our region’s educators, managers and professionals.
