Graphic Design Certificate Package

                The Center for Professional Training & Development is offering a Graphic Design Certificate Package that will include courses in both web/internet and printing environments. The package is geared toward individuals looking to gain the knowledge and skills required today in the graphic design industry.
            The latest Adobe™ and QuarkXPress™ software programs are used on both Mac and  PC formatted computers. Classes are hands-on, instructor-led and offer students a wide range of design and output subject matter needed to succeed in graphic design.
            Graphic software used in the classes will include the Adobe Creative Suite 4© package along with QuarkXPress 7.5, Safari, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.
            Classes will progress from Basic Design concepts through Wed Page Design and then into Printing and Production. A well-balanced schedule of content and projects in both areas of graphic design will allow for an in-depth understanding of the tools needed and the processes used to complete professional graphic design output.

• Dreamweaver CS4

• Flash CS4

• Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)

• Photoshop CS4

• Illustrator CS4

• InDesign CS4

• QuarkXPress 7.5

 Associated elective classes include:
Adobe Acrobat Pro (for PDFs), and Digital Photography.
