Students will learn page layout and design while the most popular page layout and production tool used in print production. The class will go from basic- to intermediate-level skill development.  Students will participate in hands-on, learn-as-you-go courses that encourage individual expression.

(Note: Textbooks are furnished for student use in class, but are the property of the University of Scranton and must be surrendered at the completion of individual classes. Textbooks can be purchased from The University of Scranton Bookstore or retail booksellers.)

Advanced QuarkXpress 7.5
(12 HRS)

Working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other graphics software, students will create original, multi-page documents that incorporate design and commercial appeal.  Each student will expand their intermediate level to advanced issues, including color management and file export.
