Experience In addition to ten years of teaching experience Professor Nicoteri has many years of nursing experience. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner for over ten years and is currently employed in the Student Health Services at the University. Additionally she has worked in home care as a manager and supervisor and in a pediatric ICU. Her current teaching responsibilities include teaching physical assessment to sophomores and family nurse practitioner students, teaching family health to non-nursing majors, and women's health to the FNP graduate students.

Research Professor Nicoteri's areas of research include teen mothers and babies, throat culture results, and college students' health care seeking behaviors.

Personal Statement "Nursing is the ultimate--one need not stagnate since the areas of professional concentration can be so varied."
