The Nursing Department Tour

The nursing department is located on the 3rd floor of McGurrin Hall. Faculty offices, the nursing skills lab, computer lab and classrooms are located here.

The nursing skills lab consists of hospital simulated patient care areaw with a TV/VCR combo above each bed, so that the student can practice the skill while viewing the “how-to” video. The lab is utilized for physical assessment and “skills labs,” for practicing skills, and for return demonstrations.

The computer lab located in the nursing department, is avaialble for use by nursing majors.
