It is significant to note that The University of Scranton began offering a five-year, entry-level Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) in 1991.



A brief description of this job is:

Physical Therapist - Through assessment and diagnoses, they write individual medical treatment plans; plan and provide treatment designed to improve the mobility, relieve the pain, and prevent or limit the permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Serve as consultants, perform research and education (ie. health promotion) for the lay community. Must comply with state requirement for licensure.
