Biophysics
Along with the growing health care industry comes the need for innovative research and technology development, and the people prepared to meet that challenge. A key element in achieving this goal is to provide a firm foundation to students in a diverse education derived from the Biophysics program. The biophysics major is designed to prepare a student to apply the physical and mathematical sciences to problems arising in the life sciences and medicine. By choosing proper electives, the student can prepare to enter graduate study of biophysics, biomedical engineering, biology, biochemistry, medicine or dentistry.
