* Includes off-campus incidents adjacent to campus.

New changes in the federal Crime Awareness & Campus Security Act require that hate crime statistics be reported for those incidents that involve murder, aggravated assault, forcible sex offenses, arson, manslaughter and simple assault. The University of Scranton had no hate crime incidents matching these categories in the past three years. One incident of hate crime adjacent to the University’s campus over the past three years involved harassment.
