Professor Lawrence teaches international accounting, cost accounting, principles of
accounting, and the freshman seminar.  Her research interests include teaching and curriculum
issues, international financial reporting, and accounting for corporate financing.  She has
published in the American Business Review and the proceedings of the American Society of
Business and Behavioral Sciences.  She has served as a reviewer for the American
Accounting Association, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, and Accounting Education:  A
Journal of Theory, Practice, and Research.  Dr. Lawrence was employed by Peat Marwick
Mitchell and has owned and managed several small businesses.  Currently, Dr. Lawrence is a
member of the Board of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Institute of Management
Accountants.
