Pastoral Studies Program:

An interdisciplinary program for undergraduate students who wish to prepare for such positions as youth minister, campus minister, chaplain, etc., or for further study in pastoral ministry.

Option A: Major in Theology/Religious Studies, minor in Counseling/Human Services

Option B: Major in Counseling/Human Services, minor in Theology/Religious Studies

Both options include three interdisciplinary courses
Psychology and Spirituality
Pastoral Studies Internship
Pastoral Studies Capstone Seminar
as well as Theology I and II, Introduction to Human Adjustment, Human Services Systems, Case Management, and Group Dynamics.

Students in Pastoral Studies will also participate in an annual review of their competency in theology, human services and personal and professional ethics.
