If your next new meeting requires sending an agenda consider using the file attachment feature in Calendar to eliminate another emai or Royal Drive link.

How to:

  1. Create a new meeting to open the meeting dialog box.
  2. Click on the tab "Details" and then type "Agenda attached," in the box provided.
  3. Click on the tab "Attachments" and then the button "Attach." Navigate to and select the file to attach.
  4. Click on the button "Open" to attach the file. An icon and the file's name are displayed within the Attachment tab. Click "OK" to create the meeting.
  5. Note that the newly created meeting displays an icon (paper clip) indicating that the meeting includes an attachment.
  6. When attendees receive email notification that a meeting has been added to their calendar the description includes "Agenda attached," not the attachment.
  7. To access the attachment you must open the meeting in Calendar and select the tab "Attachments."
    • To open the attachment double click on the icon.
    • To save the attachment to your computer click on the button "Save As. "
