- Aquinas Newspaper Digitalization Project (Fall 2004)
- The complete run of the Aquinas student newspaper will soon be available online. The Aquinas was inaugurated in newspaper format in 1930 and, because of inherent conservation problems with newsprint, many issues have become brittle. > Full story

- ProQuest Databases Debut, InfoTrac Bows Out (Fall 2001)
- The Weinberg Memorial Library began a subscription this summer to the ProQuest databases. We now have online access to the Research II Periodicals and Newspapers databases (covering the arts, business, humanities, health, social sciences, and sciences), and the National Newspapers database (which includes the full-text of the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and the Washington Post, plus 24 other newspapers). > Full story

- The Weinberg Memorial Library has acquired a subscription for a new database called JSTOR. JSTOR, an acronym for journal storage, is a collection of 117 journals in scholarly fields such as anthropology, ecology, economics, finance, history, mathematics, philosophy, political science, science,

- As part of a cooperative effort to build a regional union catalog and facilitate resource sharing in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Bibliographic Center (NEPBC) has been awarded Library Services & Technology Act funding to purchase the software and the web server required to establish a regional online union catalog. > Full story

- As an affiliate of the Pennsylvania State Data Center, the Weinberg Memorial Library receives a variety of statistical reports regarding state and federal issues. > Full story
- Library Guides (Winter 1992-93)
- The familiar student guide to the Library that was used in past years has been replaced by an expanded user guide. This guide provides key information about the Library. Additionally, the Library publishes' a series of subject source guides that highlight various aspects of the collection. The User Guide is available at. both the Circulation Desk and the Reference Desk, and the Source Guides are available at the Reference Desk.
