The position must grant the student practical experience with women's issues or women clients through the completion of at least 120 hours in a given semester. The student must have taken either PHIL 218: Feminism: Theory and Practice or SOC 215: Feminism and Social Change, or have gotten permission from the Women's Studies Executive Committee. The position may be cross-listed for credit in their major or minor. The student must seek advising from their academic advisor, the Women's Studies Director, and the agency supervisor in order to determine the guidelines and requirements of the position.

A directory has been compiled offering information regarding organizations that have stated an interest in hosting a University of Scranton student as an intern in their agency. The directory is available in the Women's Studies Office.  It is the responsibility of the student to contact the agency and acquire any application materials that may be needed.

If you have questions concerning internships contact the Director of Women's Studies.
