Information about Steven Dougherty
I was born on October 14, 1966 in Scranton, PA.
I graduated from the
University of Scranton in 1988 on the 100th year of the school with a degree
in mathematics. My maternal grandfather, Francis DeAngelis, graduated from the
Univeristy of Scranton in 1938 on the 50th year of the school with a degree in
mathematics. I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Lehigh Univeristy in 1992.
I am currently an associate professor at the University of
Scranton.
I am married to
Kelly Guiton Dougherty and I have
two sons: Steven (born March 26, 1990) and
Checco (born July 15, 1992), pictured below in my study.
