The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business. This mission is exemplified in the five objectives of the Society. These objectives include:
Students who are invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma rank in the top of their classes. Juniors whose cumulative grade point averages are in the highest 7%, seniors whose grade point averages are in the highest 10%, and MBA students whose grade point averages rank in the top 20% of their respective classes are invited to join.
May, 2001, saw the induction of our latest group of talented
students into Beta Gamma Sigma. Erich Schauer is the winner of this
year's $1000 scholarship. We're proud of you, Erich! Before the ceremony
