     Dr. McInerney, who has served on the University faculty since 1966, was born and raised in Elmira, New York, and educated at Le Moyne College, Syracuse, New York, and Loyola University of Chicago. He teaches courses in dramatic literature and film appreciation, and has published a number of articles in scholarly journals.  He also reviewed films regularly for THE SCRANTON TRIBUNE. He resides with his wife, Maureen, and his two daughters in Clarks Summit.
