Course Methodology: This course will rely heavily upon case analysis and discussion. Additional lectures will be presented (occasionally)throughout the term in order to communicate more advanced concepts, which build upon the basic case method.

Class attendance is important. Each student must come to class prepared to discuss the cases being reviewed. Thus, each case must be read by everyone and assigned analyses ready for presentation. Quizzes will be given to aid in assessing personal preparation. Excessive absences or tardiness (more than 3 classes per term) may result in the lowering of your final grade by one grade step (for example, from a B to a B-) for each excessive absence or tardiness.
There are no make-up quizzes. There will be no make-up exams unless written evidence of an emergency circumstance is submitted to the instructor prior to the exam. Failure to take an exam on the scheduled date will result in a grade of zero.
