Click on IRB Test Registration  - This link will open in a new window so you can read these directions at the same time.

Select the University of Scranton from the "All others" pull down menu at the bottom of the page.

Click Submit

Create a username and password

Click Submit

On the registration page fill out all of the starred information...

 

        -Skip Employee Number

        -Department: Psychology

        -Course: Social and Behavioral Investigator Course

        -Role in human subjects research: Student Researcher 

        -Office Phone: (570)941-4266

 

Click Submit Information

 

On the next page labeled: Select Group:

choose: Group 1- Social and Behavioral Research

 

On the next page labeled: Learners Menu:

Select Basic Course

 

Click on the Active link (if you are just starting it would be labeled Introduction) under Required Modules

 

After clicking on the link follow the instructions and complete the quiz.

If you are completing the Introduction Module, here is some additional help:

        

Review the Belmont Report. After reviewing the Belmont Report, scroll to the bottom of the page. There is no quiz for this module. Click the link Continue to History and Ethical Principles to begin the next module, History and Ethics.

 

Read all of the material within this page. When you are ready, select “Take the Quiz for history and ethical principles.” Follow the instructions to generate your quiz. Complete the quiz and follow the instructions for the subsequent sections.

 

*You may retake any or all quizzes in order to reach the required 80% score. The highest score for each section will count.
