FACULTY STUDENT RESEARCH PROJECT
I have been teaching mathematics since 1981. My specialty field is applications of set theory in other branches of math. If you have interest in higher mathematics, I would be glad to discuss a student-research project. My recent projects:
  • The Arithmetic-Geometric Mean, completed with Anatoly Shtekhman. Anatoly published his work in The Pi Mu Epsilon Journal, The arithmetic-geometric and logarithmic means, no. 1 vol. 11  pp 23 - 28. Anatoly's paper is the WINNER OF THE 1999 MAA EPADEL SECTION STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION.

  •
  • Solution manual for Yiannis Moschovakis book, Notes on Set Theory, written with Nathan Carter contains nearly 300 mathematical proofs on 250 pages.  The manual will be distributed by Springer-Verlag.
