Healthcare News

    The Health Professions Organization (HPO) is a pre-health student organization at the University of Scranton. HPO supports and encourages the students of The University of Scranton in their endeavors to enter the health care industry as physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, chiropractors, and veterinarians.


HPO News:
  • DO/PhD Program at PCOM
    On Friday Feb 17 at 3:15 PM in LSC233 there will be an informational meeting regarding the new DO-PhD program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathy. Denah Appelt, PhD, the Director of the new program, will inform students about this new opportunity for combining research and clinical studies at PCOM that provides full tuition and a stipend.

    An updated guide for students seeking matriculation in 2013 and an updated faculty recommender form is available.
  • Veterinary Schools Expand, with a Focus on Large Animals
