Albert Einstein College of
Medicine
of Yeshiva University
The students who reported about their interview day at Albert Einstein
College of Medicine traveled to the school on the day of the interview,
without a parent or friend. Although these students did not stay
overnight, they reported that a student host program was available.
On the interview day, there was one interview, which was not given by a
student. They reported that the average interview lasted about 40
minutes. The students said that the interviews were very
conversational. Some questions that students reported being asked by
interviewers at Albert Einstein included:
- "Why do you want to be a doctor?"
- "What made you decide to attend The University of Scranton?"
- "What did your research involve?"
- "What did your hospital volunteer work involve?"
- "What did the SJLA program involve?"
- "Why do you want to go to Albert Einstein?"
- "What can I tell you about Albert Einstein?"
Besides the interview day, a tour was also provided for the
interviewees. A full lunch was also provided. No presentations were
given by deans or faculty. Students classified this day as somewhat
easy.
