Eligibility:    Pre-medical students from Northeastern Pennsylvania who have completed 60 credit hours and intend to graduate within two academic years are eligible for the Boland Scholarship.  Preference is given to residents of Lackawanna County and those who are affiliated with Mercy Hospital in Scranton.  The award is based primarily on merit, not financial need.
