Please Note: Dell does not have the Scranton image ready yet for the E6500 model. If you purchase E6500 before the image is ready, it will not come pre-installed with McAfee Anti-Virus Software . When you arrive on campus and plug into Scranton’s network you will be prompted to install McAfee upon first login. We recommend you DO NOT use the laptop at home over the summer without McAfee installed. If you arrive on campus with a virus you will not be able to connect to our network until you clean the computer completely.
We apologize for this delay. We hope to be able to announce that Dell is ready with the Scranton E6500 image within the next couple of weeks. It would be better for you to wait to purchase the laptop until the image is ready but if you decide to purchase one now you can click on the link below:
