- University of Scranton version of McAfee Anti-Virus Software (provided free from University of Scranton)
- Clean Access Agent (provided free from University of Scranton)

Disadvantages Of Purchasing A Laptop
- Easy to steal (however, security devices are available Move-In weekend)
Macintosh Computers
Close to 99% of the computers at Scranton run the Windows operating system. If you own or want to bring a Macintosh, it will work on the ResNet network, however, support for Macintosh computers is limited.
MAC OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is not currently supported on ResNet.
