The support we offer at the Laptop Support Center in Hyland Hall is ONLY for students who purchased one of the Scranton Laptops recommended on our website. Students purchasing a computer that meets the minimum requirements for a laptop but is not one of the specially configured laptops can get support through the Technology Support Center located in Alumni Memorial Hall.
Whether you have a Scranton Laptop or not, you should buy and use an external hard drive and back up your data!
