Grants

The Weinberg Judaic Studies Institute offers a few different types of financial assistance to students and faculty. These are designed to encourage Judaic Studies and study in Israel. Those faculty members engaged in research related to Judaic Studies are eligible to receive a $500 grant. Those faculty members who wish to develop a course related to Judaic Studies are eligible for a $1000 grant. Faculty members who need financial assistance with travel or research expenses related to Judaic Studies are also encouraged to apply for a grant.

Students who wish to study in Israel at an approved program are eligible for a $1,200 grant.

In addition, the Weinberg Judaic Studies Institute has committed itself to providing subventions to the University of Scranton Press for the publication of books related to Judaic Studies.
