The FAFSA
All students are required to fill out the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Even if you feel you are not entitled
to need-based aid, many families are surprised that aid may be availabe
to them. If you are interested in student loans, the FAFSA must be completed.
The filing date for the FAFSA is January 1, 2004 and the preferred completion
date is February 15, 2004. There are two versions of the FAFSA
- The Paper Version
- Electronic Version
If interested in being considered and reviewed for Federal
Work Study, make sure you answer question number 34 "YES".

The Pin Number
To apply on line both you and one
of your parents need a pin number, in order to sign your FAFSA. Apply approximately
two weeks prior to filling out your FAFSA. To apply for the pin number,
the web site is http:www.pin.ed.gov
