FAFSA Review Procedure
Once a student has completed the FAFSA, the processing
center will review all the information and will send the student a Student
Aid Report (SAR). You will find your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC)
on this form. The processing center will ask you to carefully verify
that all the information is correct. If not, make corrections, sign, date
and return.
Once the University retrieves your FAFSA information and all required
documents are recieved and verified, a member of the professional staff
will review your application for need-based financial aid.
You will then recieve an Award Letter notifying you of what form of financial
aid you are entitled. This award may or may not include the following The
Federal Pell Grant, The Pennsylvania (PHEAA) Grant (residents of Pennsylvania
only), Institutional Grants, Federal Stafford Loans, Federal Unsubsidized
Loans and of course, Federal Work Study.
