2000+ students worked with tutors last year. Tutors contribute to success and retention by facilitating student learning and assisting students in becoming independent, lifelong learners.

We have 3 types of tutoring available.

Drop-in Tutoring

Drop-In Tutoring Labs offer immediate tutoring assistance without the need of an appointment. It’s available in a variety of subjects—Math, Chem, Biol, Phys, Eco, Acct, Stat, etc.

Supplemental Instruction

In SI an experienced tutor leads regularly-scheduled group study sessions—interacting with classmates while learning how to study as well as what to study.

Small Group Tutoring

In courses not supported by SI, students may request tutoring in a particular course. Students meet with a tutor in a small group on a weekly basis for the entire semester.
