Tutor Progress Reports & Payment Information

All tutors have to enter information about individual tutoring sessions on the Tutor Progress Report and complete the Work Study Student Time Entry form on the University Information System (UIS). At the end of each pay cycle, all progress reports and hours must be approved by Mary Ellen Pichiarello, Learning Enrichment Specialist. The directions for completing Tutor Progress Reports and Work Study Student Time Entry are below.

Directions to Complete Weekly Tutor Progress Reports & Log-in Work Study Hours

  1. Log onto: http://my.scranton.edu.
  2. Click on “Student” tab and select “Self-Service (UIS).”
  3. Click on “Student Services & Financial Aid” tab.
  4. Select “CTLE Menu,” located near the bottom of the list of links.
  5. On the CTLE Menu, select “Tutor Progress Report.”
  6. Select “Add a New Session” to enter progress information and hours worked for ONE tutoring session during the current payroll cycle.
  7. Click on the YELLOW BUTTON for the Work Study Student Time Entry page.
  8. If you have multiple work study positions, highlight the Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence position.
  9. Click on “Current Payroll.”
  10. Enter your hours on the corresponding day. Enter your start and finish time in increments of fifteen minutes, including AM or PM. (e.g. 12:00 PM). If you had multiple sessions on the same day, use the additional columns, entering your start and finish time. Please note, your time entered on the Work Study Student Time Entry page must be identical to the time entered for the Weekly Tutor Progress Report!
  11. Click on “Save Hours.”
  12. You are done and may log off.

Please note the following:

Time entered on the Work Study Student Time Entry page must be identical to the time entered for the Weekly Tutor Progress Report in order for you to get paid! Contact Mary Ellen Pichiarello (Room 577) if you have any problems.
