What is Computer Generated Music?
Computer generated music is the most recent and new way to produce music.  Using a computer (there are some software links on the menu bar) a  composer can record a melody with a MIDI Controller (usually a keyboard which is connected to a computer) and edit the notes played.  With MIDI software the composer could correct the volume, pitch, and panning of any recorded note.  A music production software uses virtual instruments or sound modules that can emulate the sound of a real instrument.  With a MIDI Controller and a computer a musician has the ability to create symphonies filled with real sounding brass, wind, percussion and string instruments. Below are the pictures of two virtual sound modules that create realistic instrument sounds.
