The article Claims of paranormal experiences: Attitudes toward psychical research and factors associated woth psi and psi-related expereinces found in "NIMHANS Journal" provided information which would lead me to believe that there is some validity in my hypothesis: belief in the paranormal and a history of drug use, specifically "mind-expanding" drugs are positively correlated. Although the article base where I found this information does not provide the articles in full text, I was able to get a good idea of what was concluded from the study, but not exactly how the study was carried out. The abstract was the only section of the journal provided, so I would not be able to replicate this study by only using the details in the abstract, simply because there were not enough. If I could get a hard copy of this journal article though and see exactly how the study was carried out, I think that it would be beneficial to my research topic.
