Sexual Selction and the Evolution of the Brain

Sexual Selection is defined as differential reproduction as a result of differential mating (Thank you Dr. Carey for drilling that definition into my head :) . The classic example used to demonstrate sexual selection is peacock males.  Peacock males who have very ornate and beautiful tail feathers usually reproduce more because females are attracted to males with these types of feathers.  Males who do not have these kind of tale feathers do not get to reproduce thus a form of selection.  To be more specific this type of selection is Intersexual or epigamic selection (Again thank you Dr. Carey).
