To
produce this image, I used a freezing microtome and sliced the rat
brain. Then, I mounted the slices on a pig-gelled slide and Nissl
stained them with cresyl violet stain. I then chose the best
stained brain, traced it, and labeled all visbile brain areas. This is my stained brain. This is my stained brain with labels. This is my sketch of my brain.
