This article deals with specific changes that occurred during phobic activity in the endocrine system. It also deals with cardiovascular responses as well. The subjects were exposed to the stimuli through exposure therapy. The stimuli varied along with the subject’s phobia and the stimuli lead to intense anxiety.

This article can be useful in understanding the physiology during phobic activity which can lead to more effective treatment on a more biological level. I thought the article was particularly interesting and provided different ideas for treatments.
