Blues music is my only hobby. I'm far too busy to allow myself to "waste'" time on anything else not related to work or school except for my beloved blues music.
I consider myself just a novice when it comes to all of the artists (especially contemporary) that have come and gone over the years. And my knowledge of the history of the blues is decidedly slanted toward the period of blues infancy from 1900 to 1940, as well as the "heyday" of blues from 1940 to the 1960's.
A good Delta blues song from Son House or Robert Johnson can wind me up like nothing else on earth can. Let's sit down and talk about the blues awhile. Maybe I can turn you on to something like nuthin' else you ever had……
