Moral Hypocrisy: Addressing Some Alternatives
This article consisted of two experiments to try to explain moral hypocrisy. The first experiment tested the hypotheses that the reason people expressed less moral hypocrisy when placed in front of mirrors was do to increase salientness of social evaluation. The experiment did not support the hypotheses.
